Kenya (construction)

Project Overview
In partnership with: Kenya Sunbeam Ministries
Background
Kenya Sunbeam Ministries officially opened a children's home in August 2008. Their vision is that this home will accommodate children who have been orphaned by AIDS, are HIV positive, or have a disability which does not allow them to live in the community. They also plan to build a hospice nearby so that terminally ill children can receive proper palliative care. A Land Rover will be used as a mobile clinic taking medical treatment and vaccines to hill people living in a very remote area. In the small village where they hope to have a resource centre where people can come to chat or receive
counselling and be educated in health and hygiene and family planning. They also use this opportunity to witness about Christ and to evangelize work. LIFT served here in 2008 and 2011 and now we are being asked back to continue the building work.
