LIFT Teaching (Thailand)

Project Overview
In partnership with: Eagles Rest Foundation
Background
The Eagles Rest Foundation provides a place of refreshment, healing and restoration especially for Asian national pastors and Christian workers who are living in poverty while serving the Lord. It differs from other retreat centres in that pastors and workers are referred for sponsored care since they have no personal financial means that allow them to rest from ministry. Janene and Rommel Ala, the founders of Eagles Rest, desire to be of help to others so they will not abandon their call to ministry. They share a passion for those who are struggling in ministry, largely because they have both been victims of burn-out. They have lived the depressive and debilitating disease of discouragement and now want to help others going through the same problems.
The Project
Janene and Rommel Ala have four children: Colleen, Stephanie, Jefferson and Nicole whom Janene home schools. LIFT has been asked to send out teachers to free Janene up during July and August, to teach her children and also teach English in some of the local schools.
