Mongolia

Post Project Review
From 1921 Mongolia was under communist rule, but when communism was renounced in 1990, the predominantly Buddhist country opened up and the Christian Church started to grow. Now many Christian organisations are active in the country, especially in Ulaan Baatar the capital.
Few people can tell you much about Mongolia – a wild remote country with a fierce history and a sparse, nomadic population. God’s servants in Mongolia have a great love and concern for the people of this country. The LIFT team were going to help one group of God’s servants.
The group, based in Ulaan Baata, have a mission to serve the people of Mongolia by addressing needs at all levels – physical, mental and spiritual. Many projects in the areas of health, education and Bible translation are run from the group’s headquarters, a large one-storey building that was badly in need of repair.
There were nine on the team with a wide range of experience and skills. Through God's answer to many prayers, they were able to complete almost all that was asked of them.
God doesn’t make mistakes! The return flight could only take half the team the rest would have to wait another three days. The internal doors, which had not arrived, turned up after the first group had departed, those who remained fitted the doors and the project was completed.
