Post Project Review

Gerald and Judy Brittenden have been serving the Church in North Africa from 1973. In 1993 their work received a serious threat leading to its transfer, workers and programme to France and the founding of the Association, known as Friends of Barnabas. They continue to serve the people of North Africa that they have come to love.

In 1994 the Brittenden’s were asked to become leaders of the Maghreb (North Africa) Field and in 1999 they realised a dream and were able to purchase the house they call “Dar el Kabira” (large house) in Ecouen a village north of Paris. Their greatest practical need was to complete the renovation of this house, to create a safe haven and a centre of ministry.

Trevor Moore went on his own to help with the repainting of the living and dinning room area. The contact and the news that Trevor brought back lead to another team going back to Dar el Kabira in 2003 to help the Brittenden’s as they continued to serve our Lord in this part of His world.
