Niger (SIM)
Written by Michael Kane
Project Overview
In partnership with: SIM (Serving in Mission)
Background
LIFT has been asked back to Galmi. The Galmi hospital is an accident and emergency
hospital in Niger, one of the poorest countries in the world. SIM (Serving In Mission) not
only runs the hospital, it also seeks to open hearts to the Gospel.
This will be our ninth time in Niger but any of the previous team members will tell you that it is a special calling to work for the Lord in such a harsh and barren country. It has been a privilege to work alongside the missionaries and local workers at the hospital.
The Project
The priority is the building of the new hospital. You will have the opportunity to work
alongside the local workers in the building work that Norman Graham is overseeing.
