In Partnership With: Oasis Village Trust
Proposed Project Dates
15th to 29th September 2018
About The Mission
Oasis Village Trust in Ndola Zambia is headed up by Northern Ireland missionary Nicki Moyo and her husband Ziso. They started the orphanage, school and church in 2007 and LIFT sent a construction team there in 2009 and in 2016. There are now 300 children coming to the school but space is at a premium and the school is using chalets that should be used for living accommodation for the orphanage. There are many children in great need and the Oasis Village wants to be able to take in more orphans and care for their physical and spiritual needs.
About The Work
Last year’s team worked on the new guest house which is almost complete now, as well as carrying out maintenance work. Building work is always ongoing and the trust have current plans to build a sports area and a common room for the kids which our team will work on. As well as the ongoing routine maintenance of the complex.
