Proposed Project Dates

14th to 18th August 2024

About The Mission

Oasis Village Trust in Ndola, Zambia was founded in 2007 by Northern Ireland missionary NIcki Moyo and her Zambian husband, Ziso.  Oasis Village seeks to help orphans, widows and the community at large.  It provides vulnerable children  with accommodation, education and food.  The children are also encouraged to develop talents and abilities through music and sports.  Christianity and teaching the Word of God, through love and actions, is fundamental in everything they do.  They want to see their children go far to achieve their dreams.

They also seek to promote quaity education through their primary school, mountainside Primary, at an affordable price.  They also want to reach as many people as possible with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and with this in mind, many churches have been planted in Zambia, which LIFT tems have also worked on.

They strive to see Jesus glorified, and to be an asset to the surrounding community, and to have a lasting impact on people's lives in Zambia.

 About The Work

This is primarily a maintenance team, which will be required to work and adapt to the work.  Being an orphanage there are many small construction projects that need fixed, including toilets, showers, windows, doors etc.  Previous teams have also discovered that giving some time and attention to the children is also important, as they love to talk and play with team members.
