Romania - restore ministry

Proposed Project Dates

1st to 15th August 2026

About The Mission

Restore Ministries is a branch of the mission organisation Youth with a Mission.  It has different types of ministries in villages around Romania.

As a Christian organisation, they believe that God has a purpose for every part of every individual's life. Therefore their ministry is directed towards the area of a faith as well as family, health, living conditions, education, finances and more.  Their wish is to see people lifted up to the life God intended for them to have.

Sarah Pederson from Northern Ireland and her husband Bjorn-Richard work with the Teenage Mothers Programme.  They currently have 26 teeenage mothers (aged 13 - 20) and 37 babies currently connected with the programme.  They have a vision to have a purpose-built space, with multiple floors, to be used as a platform through which they serve these teenage families.  They want to renovate the neighbouring house to have space to invite these teenage parents to stay for short periods of time; to better equip them to become good parents, spiritually pour into them and to offer hope for the future.

 About The Work

LIFT has been asked to help renovate a house which is adjacent to the current Education Centre into a Family Ministry Centre for teenage parents.  The house is currently a single storey building.  The work will consist of a new roof, new floors, gas installation, plumbing and electrical installation, new windows installation and plastering.
