LIFT which means Labour in Faith and Trust, exists to partner with mission groups who need skilled and un-skilled people to assist with projects over seas. The type of skills often needed includes:
- Experienced Builders
- Joiners
- Plumbers
- Electricians
- Tilers
- Glaziers
But LIFT also recognise that many people who are not classed as trades people, possess good DIY skills and just as importantly, a willing heart to work for our God, in sometimes difficult conditions and outside their comfort zone, in order to see His Kingdom extended across the earth. We call these much needed team members our Handy Persons.
Handy persons include men and women of a variety of ages from young adult through to the more mature.
We also, on certain projects, need those with skills in cooking and preparing food for larger groups and are always pleased to have those with first aid training on our projects.
We hope you enjoy your visit to our web site and that you too will be inspired to open our Join A Project page, fill in the on-line form and become part of a growing family of LIFT project team members.
God Bless You
