LIFT could not operate, engaging with Mission Groups and bringing together like minded Christian volunteers to complete the projects we accept each year without the power of God's Holy Spirit.
We are grateful for the many Christians who pray for us, our teams of volunteers and the projects we complete each year to show the love of God in a practical way.
If you live in or near Belfast, you are welcome to attend our monthly LIFT prayer meeting which happens on the first Monday of each month at LIFT's offices in Belfast. Our address can be found bottom of the website and a map to our location is shown on our contact page. You can also join our Facebook page, link button beneath address bottom of the site, to receive updates including the date of each meeting.
We have many people who live further afield and understand that it is not practical for these supporters to attend our monthly prayer meeting. We would ask you to remember us in your prayers. The following are some of the key aspects for which we always need prayer:
- Selecting the projects LIFT will complete each year
- That enough volunteers will apply to enable completion of God's work.
- For safe travel and working conditions for our teams. This includes physical, spirtual and political conditions.
- That the generosity of supporters will continue to ensure LIFT can meet the needs of God's work presented to us each year.
- For our LIFT council members who ensure LIFT operates in God's will.
