In Partnership With: Oasis Village Trust

Proposed Project Dates

23rd September to 7th October 2017

About The Mission

Oasis Village Trust in Ndola Zambia is headed up by Northern Ireland missionary Nicki Moyo and her husband Ziso. They started the orphanage, school and church in 2007 and LIFT sent a construction team there in 2009 and in 2016. There are now 300 children coming to the school but space is a premium and the school is using chalets that should be used for living accommodation for the orphanage. There are many children in great need and the Oasis Village wants to be able to take in more orphans and care for their physical and spiritual needs.

 About The Work

There is a great need to build more classrooms to free up the chalets, in order to take more vulnerable children into care. So the team have been asked to help build more classrooms and to refurbish the existing canteen. There will be the need for many different trades on this project.
