Ambassadors Football

Proposed Project Dates

16th to 30th May 2026

About The Mission

Ambassadors Football NI have a vision to construct a multi-purpose building beside their existing football pitch.  This space would provide much-needed  shelter from the sun and provide toilets and showers, and an area large enough to welcome up to 300 people during tournaments and other community events.  Over the past few years, they have earned the trust of the local community, and doors are opening for them to share their faith in deeper and more intentional ways.  This new centre would provide a natural setting for devotional times after training sessions and for gatherings with players and their families.

Beyond the local setting, the centre will also serve as a training hub for Christian coaches from across Senegal.  98% of the country is  Muslim; and many of these coaches are working in towns and villages where the name of Jesus is not yet known.  By equipping and encouraging them, the impact extends far beyond their own community, bringing hope and light into places where there is great spiritual need.

Their prayer is that everyone who comes into this space will encounter a place of welcome, hope and encouragement - and ultimately be pointed to Jesus.
