senegal - ambassadors football

Proposed Project Dates

12th to 26th October 2024

About The Mission

In 1990 Ambassadors Football began as Ambassadors in Sport (AIS) in Bolton, England.  They continued as AIS until the current name was adopted in 2013.  The ministry was founded by a group called Missionary Athletes International focused from the beginning to partner with churches and Christian organisations to develop a grass roots football.ministry.

To this day the work continues on through football camps, clinics, prison ministry, school ministry, men's and women's teams, international tours and major event ministries at the World Cup and Olympic Games.

Ambassadors Football now has offices around the world and through diligent prayer, calling, and research continues to expand each year according to the Lord's will.

Derek Livingstone is the Country Director in Northern Ireland and although based in Northern Ireland their vision would be to reach the whole island of Ireland for Christ through football camps, clubs and community outreach programmes.  Robert Cuthburt is the missionary in Senegal.

 About The Work

Ambassadors Football have a number of construction projects planned over the next few years, but most urgent is the construction of a permitter/ bound wall around their complex, a mission house and a shelter or shaded area.  Our LIFT team will be working with some local people but Ambassadors Football feel a LIFT team would ensure a better quality of work.
